The quality and location of the Aadhaar and Government of India logos are very clear in the original card, whereas in the fake card, it may be blurred or crooked. The strongest way to identify a fake and real card is to scan the QR code. Scanning the original QR code gives the correct information related to the UIDAI website.
Apart from this, you can also check the validity of Aadhaar from the UIDAI website. For this, first go to the website: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/verifyAadhaar. After this click on the Check Aadhaar Validity option. Now enter the 12-digit Aadhaar number and captcha.
If the Aadhaar is genuine, then “Aadhaar Verification Completed” will appear on the screen, and information about name, gender and state will be visible. Match these details with your card, if they match, then the card is genuine.
