New Delhi,(CBSE 12th 2021Result declared):The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) class 12th result will be released today at 2 pm. Candidates will be able to check the result (CBSE Class 12 Result 2021) by visiting the official website of CBSE Board cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.

This year 14.5 lakh students are registered in CBSE 12th. It is worth noting that this year CBSE’s 10th and 12th examinations were canceled due to Corona epidemic. The evaluation formula has been prepared to prepare the result of the students.

CBSE Roll Number Finder Link


CBSE has released the Roll Number Finder link https://cbseit.in/cbse/2021/rfinder/RollDetails.aspx on Thursday. Students of class 10th and 12th can get their roll number by visiting the website of the board. Students can also download their roll number slip from here.

CBSE 12th Passing Marks – 33 marks are required to pass in each subject in CBSE 12th examination.

CBSE has extended the deadline for finalization of class 10 and class 12 results for schools from July 22 to July 25. On July 25, the deadline for uploading students’ marks on the portal by schools was over.

30-30 percent weightage will be given to the 10th and 11th marks and 40 percent weightage will be given to the performance in class 12th. Those children who are not satisfied with the result will be given a chance to re-appear in the examination once the situation becomes normal. The marks of the best 3 papers out of 5 of the students of class 10th will be taken. Marks will be taken for all theory papers of class 11th. Understand CBSE 12th Class Result Formula

Class 12th – Marks will be given on the basis of performance in Unit Test, Mid Term and Pre-Board Exam. Its weightage will be 40 percent.


Class 11th – Marks will be given on the basis of the performance of theory paper of all subjects in the final exam. Its weightage will be 30 percent.


Class 10th – Marks will be given on the basis of the performance of theory paper of three subjects out of the main 5 subjects. Three out of five subjects will be those in which the student’s performance has been the best. Its weightage will also be 30 percent.

Last year also the merit list was not released due to Corona. The board did not conduct some examinations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the directions of the Supreme Court, all the state boards, including CBSE, have to release the results of class 12th before July 31. Around 14 lakh students had registered for the CBSE 12th examination this year.

CBSE Result will be available in Digilocker. Students can access their important documents like their mark sheet, migration certificate etc. by logging into DigiLocker account. Once CBSE students have a DigiLocker account, their documents will be able to be taken directly from their DigiLocker accounts. Students missing from school will not be promoted

Students who do not attend the online class or miss the pre-board and half yearly examination will be treated as absent.

CBSE will conduct examination of private students from August 16

CBSE will conduct the examinations of private category students of class 10th and 12th from August 16 to September 15. The board has said that the result of private candidates cannot be prepared without examination as neither the schools nor the board have the records for their evaluation.

The board said that after the completion of the examination, the result of these students will be released in a very short time so that they do not face any problem in taking admission in higher educational institutions. Notification in this regard will also be issued soon.
