Drugs case: NCB arrested TV actress Preetika Chauhan

New Delhi,(Preetika chauhan arrested in drugs case):The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team investigating the Bollywood drugs connection for the last two months has been a huge success on Saturday night. Another accused named Faizal arrested
Indeed, Sameer Wankhede, the zonal director of NCB, received significant inputs related to the drugs supplier in the Western Region of Mumbai. In this connection, a trap was put on a signal from Versova and two people were caught from there. One of them was Preetika Chauhan, the other accused was 20-year-old Faizal. NCB says Faisal was the supplier, while Preetika Chauhan was the receiver. During interrogation of both, it was found that these drugs had reached Faizal through some Deepak Rathore of Versova. The arrested accused were produced in court. He was sent to NCB remand by the court.
NCB operation going on in Mumbai
While an operation was being carried out in Mumbai by an NCB team on Saturday evening, a day before, another team arrested a taxi driver Sahil Mazhar Ali in Pune. Last week, NCB arrested Agicillos Demetriades, brother of actor Arjun Rampal girlfriend Grabiella Demetriades. Sahil name came up in questioning him. Since then NCB was trying to locate him. On Friday, when he got the location at Jai Bhim Nagar in Pune, he was surrounded. NCB has taken statement under Act 67 of NDPS. The taxi driver admitted that he used to supply drugs to Agicillos Demetriades. He also claimed that Demetriades is a peddler. This statement has increased the troubles of Arjun Rampal close relative.
Several Actor have been interrogated
NCB has arrested about two dozen people in this case related to Bollywood drugs connection. Rhea Chakraborty was also arrested in this case. He was granted bail a month later. In the same case, statements have also been taken of many Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor.
NCB has recovered a significant amount of drugs
The NCB seized cocaine on Saturday and Sunday from Briu John, a Tanzanian citizen in Mumbai near Mohammed Ali Road . In interrogation of him, the name of Rohit Diamond of Andheri came out. A lot of drugs were also found from him. The NCB later seized a vehicle. 300 grams of marijuana, 32 grams of charas and 5 grams of MD drug were seized from here.
